Khirkiya Queries and Original Substring Cabinet

This guide provides its own original Substring Cabinet browser simulator. A round draws eight independent equally likely binary symbols, so all 256 words have equal probability. Count distinct nonempty contiguous substring values: consecutive symbols only, with repeated occurrences of the same value counted once. These are not positional subsequences that skip symbols. Raw score is the larger of zero and distinct count minus sixteen. A word with at most sixteen distinct substring values gives zero.

Select power one, two or three before drawing. Gross multiplier is 0.96 times raw score raised to the selected power, divided by that power’s exact unconditional mean. Those means are 8.46875, 77.78125 and 738.96875 respectively. Each mode has 96% exact unrounded expected gross credit of captured stake, not winning frequency, a session promise or an external commercial return claim. Positive score can still return less than stake.

Choose a whole virtual stake and power before starting. One captured stake is debited once. The complete sampled board settles after its animation, normally 480 milliseconds; reduced motion changes duration rather than probabilities. Controls lock while a round is busy. Auto queues ten rounds; Stop cancels future queued rounds and lets the active round settle. There is no early cashout. Wait for settlement before changing settings or refilling.

The wallet starts with 1000 free virtual coins. Settled wallet and fractional-credit carry persist in browser localStorage. Only while idle below ten coins can manual refill set the balance to 1000, preserving carry; it does not add 1000 or erase carry. Reload retains the saved debited wallet and carry, but an unfinished round is not recovered or refunded. Keep an active round open until settlement. No account synchronizes devices or restores deleted values.
